The Track & Trace Working Group aims to harmonise the tracking and tracing event and notification model by establishing a standardised framework for shipment status updates. This article provides an overview of the group’s progress since its founding in 2024 and outlines the next steps in its mission to enhance transparency and efficiency in supply chains. With the successful publication of the first version of a unified event model, the Working Group is now working towards refinements from industry feedback. (....)
