Alstom and Metro de Sevilla have signed a contract for the maintenance and upgrade of the railway signalling systems. This agreement includes the maintenance of the signalling systems, covering both trackside equipment (signals, track circuits, point machines and technical rooms) and the onboard equipment for the trains.
The contract also includes the renewal of interlockings, hardware upgrades and tools for fixed trackside balises, the necessary spare parts and repair stock for the duration of the contract, the renewal of onboard equipment and Driver-Machine Interface as well as periodic training for Metro de Sevilla staff.
