ARCHION Corporation (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President & Chief Executive Officer: Karl Deppen, hereinafter “ARCHION”) group, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa; President & CEO: Franziska Cusumano; hereinafter “Mitsubishi Fuso”) and Hino Motors, Ltd. (Headquarters: Hino-shi, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satyakam Arya; hereinafter "Hino") announced the launch of new medium-duty truck models for the Japanese market. With the launch of the new “Hino Ranger” and the new FUSO “Fighter”, ARCHION provides even stronger product choices for Japanese customers in the medium duty segment. The new vehicles represent the first milestone in ARCHION's Integrated Platform Strategy, a key pillar of ARCHION Group's growth strategy.
The Integrated Platform Strategy is at the core of ARCHION's growth agenda, aimed at maximizing integration synergies between Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso, strengthening product competitiveness, and serving a broader range of customer needs. As part of this strategy, the companies will standardize core vehicle platforms, including powertrains, chassis, cabs, and electronic architectures, optimize component specifications, leverage economies of scale, and enhance overall product competitiveness. In the near term, ARCHION will utilize existing platforms between Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso. This approach will allow bothbrands to respond more quickly and effectively to customer needs that would have been difficult to address independently. (....)
