More than $3 Million in Grants Help Improve Driver Safety and Create Career Opportunities for Veterans and Rural Communities as Part of Biden-Harris Trucking Action Plan / WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) today announced awards totaling nearly $3.5 million to 27 colleges and other commercial driver’s license (CDL) training programs through the agency’s Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator Safety Training (CMVOST) Grant Program.
