On 28 July 2022 the Commission adopted the decision needed to set up a reformed Expert Group on Urban Mobility (EGUM). The new EU Urban Mobility Framework, adopted on 14 December 2021 as part of the Efficient and Green Mobility Package, states that a reinforced platform for dialogue and the co-creation of actions to implement the new framework will enable stronger engagement by Member States, and improved dialogue with cities, regions and stakeholders on all urban mobility issues.
