Pressemitteilung: CETC Launches Zhejiang’s Longest Driverless Bus Route

CETC Hik AI Link, a subsidiary of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), has launched Zhejiang Province’s longest driverless bus route.
The 23.5-kilometer line connects Hangzhou West Railway Station with Beihang University’s Hangzhou International Campus, offering students a firsthand experience of intelligent transport. The vehicles interact seamlessly with smart intersections equipped with LiDAR and cameras, receiving real-time traffic signal countdowns. Guided by “green wave speed” technology, the shuttles adjust speeds precisely, avoid congestion efficiently, and ensure smooth, timely arrivals.
The new route is not only a breakthrough in distance but also in technological integration. Built on a “vehicle-road-cloud” architecture, it combines high-precision mapping, 5G networks, C-V2X technology, and spatiotemporal fusion algorithms to enable dynamic interaction between vehicles, infrastructure, and cloud systems.
