MARSEILLE, France – Mar. 19, 2026 – CEVA Logistics, a global leader in third-party logistics specializing in reverse logistics for electric vehicle (EV) batteries, announces the launch of a new secure maritime transport solution dedicated to the shipment of used lithium-ion batteries to continental Europe. This service is operational as of March 2026 on CMA CGM's shipping lines and is based on an initial deployment of five specifically adapted containers.
The battery market has experienced rapid and sustained expansion for the last several years thanks to the growing demand for energy storage solutions and the rise of electric vehicles.
