On July 17, China Eastern Airlines flight MU707 departed from Shanghai Pudong International Airport, carrying 234 passengers on its inaugural journey to Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen. The launch of the Shanghai–Copenhagen route marks the official opening of a new air corridor between China and Denmark. Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Denmark, the route serves as a fast and efficient channel that will further promote bilateral exchanges, strengthen mutual understanding, and deepen cooperation. Earlier that day a grand launch ceremony was held at Terminal 1 of Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Upon touchdown in Copenhagen, the local airport staff welcomed the aircraft with a symbolic water salute, signifying the utmost respect in aviation traditions.
