Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic on Sunday visits a photo exhibition about the high-speed railway construction in Serbia on the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway in a ceremony held in Novi Sad, Serbia, to mark the one-year anniversary of the inauguration of Belgrade-Novi Sad section of the line. The photo exhibition was hosted by China Railway International. Construction of the line was conducted by a Chinese consortium. / Nearly 3 million passenger trips were made on the China-built high-speed railway in Serbia during the first year of its operation, according to China Railway International. Sunday marked the anniversary of the opening of Belgrade-Novi Sad section of Serbia-Hungary Railway, the first high-speed railway in Serbia and also a landmark Belt and Road Initiative project in Europe.
