CMA CGM strengthens its strategic footprint in Vietnam with the Gemalink expansion The CMA CGM Group announces the launch of the expansion works of Gemalink’s container terminal, located in Cai Mep port in southern Vietnam, in which the Group holds a 25% stake, alongside its long-standing partner, Gemadept. This project marks a new milestone in the development of CMA CGM’s port capacity in Southeast Asia and confirms its long-term commitment to the region. Through this investment, CMA CGM reaffirms its ambition to contribute to Vietnam’s economic development and to support more fluid, resilient and sustainable supply chains. An investment to double terminal capacity Once completed, the terminal’s capacity will increase from 1.7 million to approximately 3 million TEUs, with full completion expected in 2027. (....)
