A 300,000-deadweight ton very large crude carrier (VLCC) was officially named NEW ADEN and delivered to China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd on Sept 24. Jointly built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC) and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., both subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), the newly-delivered ship is 333 meters long and 60 meters wide. It has a molded depth of 30 meters and a designed draft of 20.5 meters. (....)
