As announced in July, the EU ETS for the Maritime sector will come into force starting on January 1, 2024. This new compliance-based carbon price measure will impact Samskip's routes within Europe and the UK. To maintain our transparency with all our customers, this carbon tax will be applied as a separate charge over and above the freight rate.
