Europe is calling, and Delta is adding more ways and more time to experience it.
New nonstop service from Detroit to Athens and Boston to Venice will join Delta’s previously announced route from Austin to Paris. The airline is also extending its transatlantic season, with several popular routes starting earlier in the spring or continuing deeper into the fall and winter.
"Customers continue to seek more flexibility, convenience and choice when traveling to Europe, whether they are planning a spring escape, a summer vacation or a fall getaway,” said Jeff Arinder, Delta’s Vice President of International Network Planning. “By adding new European destinations from Detroit and Boston, establishing Austin as a new gateway to Europe and extending service on several popular routes, we're giving customers more choice, greater flexibility and more opportunities to travel when and how they want.” (....)
