Pressemitteilung: ECG expands Middle East ties, sharing standards for efficient vehicle Logistics

ECG - The Association of European Vehicle Logistics is the network and strategic alliance platform for companies involved in the movement of vehicles. Today, ECG Executive Director Frank Schnelle and Business Analyst Namrita Chow are in the Middle East to build networks and alliances for ECG members.
Expanding partnerships and building bridges to emerging markets, and sharing ECG’s established standards and guidelines with those engaged in vehicle logistics are all part of ECG’s visit to two rapidly growing hubs in the Middle East - the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Frank Schnelle introduced ECG to a new audience at the Automotive Logistics Middle East Conference, held for the first time in Dubai. This was followed by visits to Jebel Ali Port in Dubai and Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, to see firsthand the scale and sophistication of the automotive terminals in these strategic ports for the region.
ECG expanded its network and strengthened cooperation with key partners, including the Dubai Chambers and the National Association of Freight and Logistics. The visit further highlighted the strong growth in new car sales in the region, as well as the continued expansion of re-exports from this area to other countries across Africa and the Middle East.
