EIT Urban Mobility and the Swiss Association for Autonomous Mobility (SAAM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration on autonomous mobility. SAAM is Switzerland’s national association dedicated to accelerating the deployment of autonomous mobility solutions, bringing together public authorities, industry, operators, research institutions and other stakeholders. Its ambition to advance safe, effective autonomous mobility deployment aligns closely with EIT Urban Mobility’s own mission to build more sustainable, innovative and liveable urban transport systems across Europe. Sharing the vision for safer, smarter mobility The collaboration reflects a common belief: that the transition to automated mobility is best achieved through open exchange and collaboration, rather than in isolation. By joining forces, EIT Urban Mobility and SAAM aim to bring Swiss expertise and experience closer to a wider European innovation network – helping good ideas travel faster between national and continental levels.
