Pressemitteilung: Enhancing road safety across Germany and Europe

Mobility Data Space and Data for Road Safety join forces
Munich/Brussels, 26 February 2026 – To enhance road safety across Europe, the Mobility Data Space (MDS) and the pan-European initiative Data for Road Safety (DFRS) have officially signed a cooperation agreement. The partnership supports the objectives of the European Commission and the German Federal Government to advance initiatives such as Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and the secure sharing of mobility data.
