5 September 2025 – Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has reached a major milestone with the European Railway Agency (ERA) granting type approval for operation of the Traxx Universal locomotive equipped with EbiCab 2000 ETCS. The approved onboard system is part of Alstom’s onboard portfolio.
