ESPO congratulates the Port of Den Oever (The Netherlands) and the Port of Baku (Azerbaijan) on being certified through the EcoPorts’ environmental management standard (PERS). This is Baku’s second PERS certification since they joined the EcoPorts network in 2018, and Den Oever’s third PERS certification since 2014. These feats demonstrate the efforts of these ports in protecting their marine environment, facilitating the circular economy and pushing for better energy efficiency. (....)
