Summer traffic continues to grow, with Week 20 witnessing over 31,000 average daily flights, a total that puts the network overall at 99% of 2019. Compared to 2023, the picture is one of consistent traffic growth: 7% higher than this time last year, with virtually all top 10 States, airlines and airports seeing more flights. Within the overall network picture, however, there is quite some variation. Only half of the ten busiest States, and half of all network States, are handling more flights than pre-pandemic – but certain network actors are seeing considerably higher values than in 2019. (....)
