Stable traffic for the second week running saw the European aviation network record 21,429 daily flights over the 7-day period (Monday 23-Sunday 29 January 2023) of Week 4.This was just 15 fewer than Week 3, while ATFM delays declined further to just 14 seconds per flight, with arrival punctuality at 80%. January 2023 to date remains at 86% of 2019 traffic, exactly in line with our traffic predictions made last year. There were gentle week-on-week traffic dips across many top 10 States, airlines and airports, but wide variations remain in the recovery rate across all parts of the aviation ecosystem. (....)
