Flight growth continued in Week 22 and now stands at 30,750 daily average flights, creeping up to 93.5% of 2019 traffic. Among Europe's busiest airlines, Ryanair crossed the 3.1K daily flight barrier (3,145 daily average flights over the period 29.05-04.06), and is now operating on a daily basis 23% more flights than pre-pandemic 2019. Joining Ryanair in flying more currently than the same period in 2019 are three other Top 20 airlines, 2nd place Turkish (up 11%), 8th place Wizz Air (up 31%) & 16th place Jet2 (up 16%). (....)
