Week 3 saw midweek snow & freezing rain push network traffic down 4% to 21,994 daily flights. That was just 86% of 2019 – with arrival punctuality also down to 69.5% (W2: 75.2%). There was lower traffic across the network, particularly in Germany: • 9% down at State level, third in the network (3,290 daily flights) • 17% down at the third busiest network airline Lufthansa (823 daily flights) • 8% down at Munich Airport, dropping to ninth (645 daily flights) • 17% down at Frankfurt Airport, dropping to sixth (877 daily flights) / Only a handful of #airlines #airports & States saw more traffic than in Week 2: • Zürich was the only Top 10 airport up at +6% (610 daily flights & 10th) • Turkish was the only Top 10 airline up at +2% (1,317 daily flights & 2nd) • Switzerland was the only Top 10 State up at +3% (1,155 daily flights & 8th) (....)
