Pressemitteilung: EUROCONTROL aviation network update

Week 7 saw over 24,000 daily flights across the European aviation network, a 4% week-on-week rise. There were some notable week-on-week increases, particularly at the easyJet Group, which continued to accelerate operations. Daily flights were up 16% (after a 37% increase in Week 6), which saw easyJet move back into second place on 1,387 daily flights. Almost double-digit growth in air traffic was recorded in two Top 10 countries, with Germany and France both seeing a 9% rise. That took Germany up to 3,988 daily flights, just 1 daily flight behind second-busiest State Spain.
