In Week 50, rising pre-Christmas air traffic saw the European airspace handle almost 25K flights a day, up +4.4% compared to Week 49, and reaching 94% of 2019 levels (up from 91% in Week 49). All major traffic flows increased week-on-week. 19,154 of those 24,982 daily flights were intra-European, a 5% increase. Traffic to-and-from North Africa also saw a 5% increase, to 1,911 daily flights (114% of 2019 levels), while traffic from-and-to the Middle East and North America increased by 3% and 2%, respectively.
