A second week-on-week dip in air traffic saw -1.3% fewer movements in Week 3 of 2023, with 21,444 average daily flights in the European aviation network for the 7-day period (Monday 16-Sunday 22 January). That brought traffic across the European aviation network to 84% of 2019 over the 7 days (Mon 16-Sun 22 January), although still at 86% of 2019 for the period 1-21 January. This translated into similar or slightly less traffic across most top 10 States, airlines and airports, with however some growth exceptions.
