EUROCONTROL has just released new updates to its flagship sustainability platform, FlyingGreen. FlyingGreen’s innovative suite of tools and resources is designed to assist aviation stakeholders in accelerating their transition toward sustainability, focusing on four strategic pillars: reducing emissions (NetZero), transitioning to sustainable fuels (Fuelling Decarb), building resilience to climate change (ClimAdapt), and access to green funding (DecarbFin). FlyingGreen is a key priority of EUROCONTROL’s corporate programme Raising the Bar: EUROCONTROL 2030. The recent developments primarily enhance the NetZero and ClimAdapt pillars, introducing improved tools for decarbonisation and climate adaptation, alongside a more user-friendly interface.
