Week 11 saw the European aviation network get back on track: up to 88% of 2019 traffic, & a clear rebound after Week 10's strike impacts. That translated into 23,918 daily flights across the network in Week 11 (13-19.03), a return to typical traffic levels after Week 10 with just 23,050 daily flights and 85% of 2019 traffic. The bounce-back was +4% vs Week 10, reversing what had been a -3% fall between Week 10 and Week 9. Delays directly attributable to ATFM dropped from 74K minutes a day in Week 10 to 31K mins/day in Week 11, a 58% decline, with flight arrival punctuality – i.e. factoring in all causes of delay, not just ATFM – rising to 75% (Week 10: 67%).
