Today, Eurostat released the September edition of the interactive European Statistical Recovery Dashboard.The dashboard contains monthly and quarterly indicators from a number of statistical areas relevant for tracking the economic and social recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, across countries and time./ September highlights: EU industrial production drops and excess mortality rises • After the EU economy expanded in Q2 2022, retail trade rebounded mildly but industrial production decreased in July 2022. EU production in services rose for the fifth month in a row in June 2022 but at a much slower pace compared to the previous month. GDP, industrial production, production in services and retail trade remained above pre-pandemic levels. (....)
