Evergreen is pleased to announce the launch of “SAF” service on May 28th, 2026.
This new service will expand Evergreen Lines network by providing direct service from Far East to South Africa.
It will also help to complement Evergreen Lines existing other South Africa services with better port coverage and frequency.
This service will be jointly operated with Pacific International Lines by using 8 vessels with nominal capacity of 5,500 TEU.
SAF maiden voyage will commence from Shanghai on May 28th, 2026 and arrive in Durban on June 25th, 2026. It will be a 63-day fixed round trip schedule.
The port rotation will be: Shanghai – Ningbo – Kaohsiung – Shekou – Singapore – Durban – Cape Town – Singapore – Shanghai.
Evergreen is confident that the new service will provide customers with better frequency and service coverage between Central and South China, Taiwan, Singapore and South Africa.. (....)
