FAW Jiefang, the commercial vehicle subsidiary of FAW, has announced a strategic proposal to establish eight wholly-owned subsidiaries across key international markets. The plan, approved at the 27th meeting of the 10th Board of Directors on July 1, aligns with the company’s ongoing implementation of its SPRINT 2030 internationalization roadmap.
The proposed investment, totaling approximately RMB 498 million yuan (68 million USD), would support the formation of local subsidiaries in Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and three other selected markets. The initiative aims to strengthen FAW Jiefang’s overseas presence, accelerate localization, and lay the foundation for long-term international growth. (....)
