Pressemitteilung: First CKD6S Locomotive Rolls Off Production Line
On June 10, the first CKD6S locomotive, a significant outcome of China-Kazakhstan cooperation in the rail transportation sector under the Belt and Road Initiative, rolled off the production line. The locomotive was specially developed by CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited. During the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in October 2023, as witnessed by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, CRRC signed a cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ). The CKD6S locomotive in question is the first locomotive produced under this agreement. (....)
