Pominpro, a Peruvian transport company of Grupo Polo, begins interprovincial bus service on 25 September in partnership with FlixBus, connecting Lima and Trujillo – with a stop in Chimbote along the northern coastal corridor. The new service marks FlixBus’s entry into Peru, its 46th country of operation, third market in South America after Brazil and Chile, and fourth in Latin America including Mexico.
Peruvian operator with its own fleet and drivers
Pominpro brings 18 years of experience in urban and private passenger transport in Peru. It operates the new route under the corresponding authorizations of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), with its own buses and professional drivers trained to FlixBus standards. FlixBus contributes its sales channels, including flixbus.pe and the FlixBus app, permanent driver support from its traffic control center, incident response protocols, and centralized customer service that assists passengers before, during, and after their trip.
