A Boeing 747-400F freighter, carrying 95 tons of cross-border e-commerce goods, recently took off from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, heading towards East Midlands Airport in Derby, England. This flight is operated by China Gate Logistics Group Co., Ltd.(CGL) in collaboration with One Air, a British all-cargo airline. The launch of this route marks the opening of Henan’s first Zhengzhou-Derby cross-border e-commerce freighter service, establishing a highly efficient and convenient air logistics channel for trade between Henan and Europe. East Midlands Airport is the second largest cargo hub in the UK, located about 160 kilometers from London, and serves the air transport needs of London and the surrounding areas. The new route will further enhance the connection between Zhengzhou and key European logistics hubs, expanding the coverage of the international logistics network and providing efficient logistical support for Chinese manufacturing to enter the European market.
