ID Logistics, an international contract logistics group, announces the creation of ID Logistics Healthcare, a new subsidiary dedicated to pharmaceutical and healthcare activities in Spain and Portugal.
The Group is therefore accelerating the development of its Healthcare activities through increased specialization of its expertise, infrastructure and operations. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience alongside pharmaceutical laboratories, para-pharmacy players and medical device specialists, ID Logistics Healthcare manages healthcare product flows in an environment characterized by growing requirements in terms of traceability, security and temperature control. In a market driven by growing healthcare needs and evolving pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceuticalflows, ID Logistics also aims to strengthen the development of its Healthcare activities across the Group. The Group is therefore deploying an integrated offering combining pharmaceutical logistics, temperature-controlled transportation and value-added services.
A SPECIALIZED ORGANISATION SERVING HEALTHCARE PLAYERS ID Logistics Healthcare currently operates five specialized sites representing more than 70,000 sqm of certified warehouses in Spain and Portugal, operating in compliance with GDP and GMP standards, serving leading players in the pharmaceutical, dermocosmetics and consumer healthcare sectors. The facilities ensure the storage and multi-channel distribution of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to hospitals, pharmacies, pharmaceutical wholesalers, para-pharmacy networks, specialized clinics and patients, under controlled ambient temperature (+15°C/+25°C), refrigerated conditions (+2°C/+8°C) or other specific temperature requirements.
