To ensure the highest standards of safety in the maritime transport of dangerous goods, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has adopted the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code Amendment 42-24 (2024 Edition).
The IMO regulation allows for a one-year transition period, permitting the voluntary application of Amendment 42-24 starting from January 1, 2025, with mandatory compliance from January 1, 2026. However, to ensure a safe and seamless transition in our systems, ONE will enforce mandatory compliance with Amendment 42-24 for all new DG applications starting November 1, 2025.
