Kuehne+Nagel has opened a 3,505 sqm healthcare logistics centre at Frankfurt Airport, expanding specialised capacity for the handling of temperature-sensitive pharma and healthcare products. The new facility helps manufacturers move critical products through one of Europe's leading air cargo hubs and supports growing demand for reliable healthcare supply chains worldwide.
The investment builds on a series of recent healthcare logistics developments in Frankfurt. Earlier this year, Frankfurt was added to Inspire, Kuehne+Nagel’s Boeing 747-8F freighter network, and the Frankfurt-Atlanta Cool Corridor for temperature-sensitive healthcare shipments was launched. These developments reinforce Frankfurt's role as a key healthcare logistics gateway and enhance Kuehne+Nagel's ability to connect pharmaceutical manufacturers with global markets. (....)
