Pressemitteilung: Milence was selected for over €111 million in EU funding to accelerate the development of charging infrastructure and create Europe’s electric corridors
• MILES (Mobility Infrastructure for Logistics – Electric & Sustainable) has been selected as a project to be co-funded by the European Union, within AFIF Call • Through this project, Milence will receive up to €111,537,000 to deploy 284 MCS and 264 CCS charging points in 71 locations across 10 EU member states • The Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF) call boosts Europe’s decarbonization and competitiveness efforts / Amsterdam, Brussels xx February 2025 – Milence, the joint venture between Daimler Truck, the TRATON GROUP and Volvo Group is one of 39 innovative projects selected by the European Union to develop alternative fuel infrastructure. A total grant of €422 million, provided by the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF), will support these initiatives to drive the transition to cleaner transport. (....)
