Pressemitteilung: More new rail lines improve connectivity

Chinese railways adopted new schedules on Monday, adding more passenger and cargo services to improve efficiency and capacity with increased demand expected following the easing of epidemic measures, China State Railway Group said on Monday. A total of 12,092 passenger trains and 21,788 cargo trains will run every day, an increase of 126 passenger trains and 100 cargo trains compared with the previous schedule. The national railway operator said that on one hand, it will coordinate epidemic prevention and control and on the other hand, it will take full advantage of a number of newly opened lines to improve the network's efficiency and capacity.
