The Economist’s World Ocean Summit 2021 is going virtual with the theme ‘accelerating a sustainable ocean economy’ / MSC is proud to be part of the 2021 agenda focused on accelerating solutions to create a sustainable ocean economy. The five-day event, hosted by The Economist, is engaging government, business and civil society leaders in meaningful, action-oriented discussions around transforming ocean-based sectors and ecosystems to safeguard the health of the oceans while continuing to develop vital economies. The event presents 30 hours of highly curated content in the form of plenary sessions and panel discussions covering six dedicated tracks: aquaculture, fishing, energy, plastics, shipping, and tourism.
