Beiben Trucks Group Co., Ltd. (Beiben Trucks) — a subsidiary of China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (NORINCO) — recently secured an order for 300 new-energy heavy-duty trucks, which are to be used for a cross-border freight transport project along the China-Mongolia border. With a focus on efficient port transport, Beiben Trucks has optimized existing truck types in light of the operational requirements of cross-border transport. The project has established a low-carbon cross-border coal transportation corridor between China and Mongolia, supporting the green transition of bilateral trade. It also consolidates the company’s competitive position in the new-energy heavy-duty truck market. Production of the first batch of 50 electric trucks is underway, which are expected to hit the roads at the end of July. Looking ahead, Beiben Trucks will cater to cross-border transport needs and collaborate with its partners to continuously upgrade its technologies and services — all in a bid to build a more efficient, reliable and sustainable cross-border logistics ecosystem.
