As announced in its recent action plan to tackle labour and skills shortages, the European Commission will organise a participatory conference on 23 April 2024 to enable discussions with and between relevant stakeholders on labour market developments and labour shortages in the transport sector in the European Union. The objective is to develop a shared understanding of the challenges, to exchange good practice examples and possibly issue recommendations on measures to address these challenges.
