IRU has awarded its Diploma of Honour to 1,756 taxi, bus, coach and truck drivers from 23 countries worldwide for their outstanding driving and safety records. Every year, the IRU Presidential Executive awards the prestigious IRU Diploma of Honour to drivers from different countries worldwide for their excellent driving and safety records. Each award winner has professionally driven a minimum of 1 million kilometres during a career of at least 20 years without causing an accident or committing any serious violation of traffic, customs or administrative regulations. They represent the high level of professionalism and training that IRU promotes through the IRU Academy and offer an example to younger drivers. (....)
