SEGRO has installed 12,000 solar panels, with a total capacity of more than 5.6 megawatts, on the roof of the SEGRO Logistics Center Tilburg I in the Netherlands, which is almost seven football pitches in size. In the future, it will generate around 5,000,000 kWh annually. Nokia Solutions and Network has been based at the site since 2013. "Our halls are perfectly suited to not only ensure the supply of renewable energy to our tenant Nokia's operations, but also to more than 1,200 households in the region," says Eelco Ouwerkerk, Head of Netherlands at SEGRO.
