Black Friday will once again kick off the Christmas season, one of the busiest periods of the year for retail and logistics. From November 24th to mid January, SEUR expects to handle over 33 million shipments, with peak days exceeding one million packages. Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, Seville, and Málaga will be the provinces with the highest concentration of activity.
To meet this increase in demand and maintain service excellence, the company will boost its staff with 2,800 new hires, primarily delivery drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service personnel. The reinforcement plan also includes expanding operational capacity with new warehouses and logistics centers, as well as adding 2,000 additional vehicles, 33% of which are sustainable.
