Amsterdam, 28 November 2023 – The SFC Exchange Network, a groundbreaking initiative of stakeholder-led, decentralized, emissions data exchange within the transport logistics sector, is bringing its success to scale through the establishment of a dedicated purpose driven company, enabling the required transparency in logistics emissions. The SFC Exchange Network supports shippers, logistics service providers and thousands of transport carriers in addressing their logistics emissions and assists companies in meeting upcoming regulations on carbon reporting. The SFC Exchange Network was successfully tested in July 2023 with several Smart Freight Centre member companies. The next phase will be to expand the digital infrastructure required for secure, standardized, auditable, and multimodal transportation carbon data exchange across the end-to-end supply chain, as well as the onboarding of all partners.
