What are ODAS and COMPAS?
Introduced in 2017, ODAS by Alstom, was the world’s first homologated obstacle detection system for trams. Using stereo vision cameras and predictive mapping, ODAS continuously scans the tracks ahead, detecting hazards like pedestrians, vehicles, or debris.
