Following the adoption of the new Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) / , the focus is now shifting to implementation needs. AFIR sets new requirements for recharging and refuelling of zero-emission trucks and for the rollout of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. To address outstanding questions concerning the roll-out of related infrastructure and discuss the state of play of market development, the Commission has decided to set up new sub-groups under the Sustainable Transport Forum (STF) on: i) hydrogen refuelling infrastructure for road transport vehicles, ii) rechargingandrefuellinginfrastructure for zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles, and iii) EU Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for e-mobility.
