The Digital Air Cargo Working Group is at the forefront of efforts to digitalise and streamline data exchange within the air cargo sector. This article reviews the group’s achievements in 2024 and outlines the next steps in its mission to implement efficient and error-free data sharing standards. Their project, NE:ONE, is an open source solution implementing the IATA ONE Record standard, paving the way for seamless digital collaboration among air cargo stakeholders. In an era where efficiency, transparency and accuracy are crucial, the Working Group Digital Air Cargo is dedicated to transforming the air cargo industry. Their mission is to streamline data exchange across the entire air cargo transport chain, making it more efficient, reliable, and interoperable. At the heart of this transformation is the NE:ONE project, an open source software package designed to implement the data model and API specifications of the IATA ONE Record standard.
