Pressemitteilung: TransFollow in strategic partnership with IRU to drive digital road freight
IRU and TransFollow have joined forces to accelerate market acceptance and uptake of fully digital road freight and logistics with the eCMR standard.Through a strategic partnership with IRU, TransFollow, one of the first and leading eCMR solution providers, will help advance digital tools that make road transport more efficient, sustainable and connected. The partnership will drive awareness, education and adoption of the eCMR standard in Europe with the logistics sector, its clients and its regulators. TransFollow is also part of IRU’s newly formed eCMR technical expert group developing common global standards, processes and practices for digitally exchanging freight data. Given the high degree of fragmentation between existing eCMR offerings, the group aims to improve interoperability among eCMR solutions. IRU Senior Director of Strategy and Development Vincent Erard said, “Digitalisation is transforming road transport. IRU and TransFollow share the vision of common global standards, processes and practices. By working together, we can accelerate the adoption of practical digital tools that power more efficient transport operations.” (....)
