UIP together with the International Tank Container Organisation (ITCO) is calling for an indefinite derogation of solid state fluoropolymers from the PFAS restrictions as there are no viable alternatives. These materials play an essential role in leak prevention and efficient transport operations. It is necessary to ensure safety in the transportation of dangerous goods, particularly in preventing environmental contamination.
